You don’t have to travel far from your new home to find arts and culture. Just north of the Tehaleh® community, Bonney Lake offers various museums of interest, a historical society, a range of performing arts and theater. The Puyallup Fair exhibits the artistic talents of individuals from all over Washington state and beyond. Artists enter their handiwork in a variety of categories. Promoting diverse artistic culture, Arts Downtown, Puyallup's Outdoor Gallery, curates a rotating and permanent collection of quality art by professional, emerging, and student artists.

Located just 20 minutes northwest of the Tehaleh® community, Tacoma is a mecca for shopping, casual and fine dining, cultural centers, outdoor recreation, and sports. Home to the state’s highest density of historic and art museums, don’t miss the Tacoma Museum of Glass, LaMay Car Museum, or the Tacoma Art Museum (TAM), the biggest outside of Seattle. While you’re there, take in a ballet, an opera, or the symphony. From indie bookstores to organic produce, rare teas to antiques − you’ll find it in nearby Tacoma.
