Forest + mountain:
A playground for the soul
Where backpacking meets birding, stargazing meets sledding, it’s all about blazing trails through the woods, and making new friends. Picnic at a glacier. Wander through wetlands. Wonder at sunsets. Designed for healthy living, the Tehaleh® community connects you with the great outdoors, and each other. Winding trails connect homes to parks and parks to schools, which are planned to connect to the larger regional trail system of Mount Rainier National Park - over 300 miles of trails, from low elevation to old growth forests to subalpine flower meadows. Together with the many distinct parks, and nearly 1,000 acres of natural open space in the Tehaleh community, there’s plenty of room to hike, play, explore, and s’more!
Warmth of Community. Impromptu get-togethers are an everyday happening in our neck of the woods. Wander over to The Post-- Community Information and Cafe, a natural gathering place for exploration and relaxation. Grab a latte at Caffé D'arte. Play games in the park or just relax in a wildflower alpine meadow. The Tehaleh Community is planned to be walkable, bike-friendly, connected, and full of open space, parks, playgrounds, and outdoor adventure. Perfect a kick flip at the Skate Park. Get creative at the Graffiti Wall. Shoot some hoops. With something for everyone, families growing closer is a natural extension of the Tehaleh experience.
