Spotlight on: Donald Eismann Elementary School
A world of discovery awaits our youngest residents at Donald Eismann Elementary School, located onsite in the highly rated Sumner School District. Highlights include:
Our fifth graders have the highest science scores in the Sumner School District and every classroom is wired with state-of-the-art tech boards for an optimum learning experience.
The district is also ranked in the Top 20 school districts in the state of Washington by Schooldigger.com.
Donald Eismann Elementary has a four-star rating on GreatSchools.org. Students are empowered to become leaders of the 21st century through its “Highly Capable” program for gifted students, innovative classes and individualized attention, while the surrounding forest provides a setting for experimentation and exploration.
Students can also model the work of professional researchers for our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Fair.
After-school activities include art club, drama club and Bricks 4 Kidz, where students build professionally-designed amusement parks and skyscrapers with LEGOs.
Six additional schools (serving kindergarten through 12th grade) have been approved for the community. In the meantime, the stellar Mountain View Middle School and Bonney Lake High School are conveniently a few miles north of the Tehaleh community.
